The Bean na h-Éireann (woman of Ireland) is a tribute to the role women have played throughout our history in the struggle for Irish identity, rights and freedom, Grainne Ní Mhaille, Countess Markievicz, Bernadette Mc Aliskey to name a few. The design marries together Ireland’s iconic harp symbol embellished with Celtic design with the strength, beauty and natural grace found in the ‘classical’ female form.
