Shop Policies

Please note that due to the ’hand crafted’ nature of Celtic Clays pottery there will be slight tonal/colour variations in every piece. Hence no two pieces will be identical. This is a result of both the glazing and kiln firing process! Similarly, there may be slight variations in size. This is due to each piece being ‘ hand thrown’ on a potter’s wheel. These differences are an intrinsic part of the aesthetics of Celtic Clays pottery.

Customs and Import Taxes / Duties

Buyers are responsible for all import duties that ‘may’ apply. This is at the discretion of the country of export eg USA, Canada or Britain. Delays may occur if items are held up in “customs”.

Returns And Exchanges

Any item may be returned for a full refund or exchanged. If goods arrive broken due to incompetent handling Celtic Clays will issue a full refund. Photographic evidence must be provided for all breakages before any refund is given. Buyer must notify Celtic clays within 7 days of receipt of goods.

If an item is to be returned all postage costs will be incurred by the buyer. However, if the wrong item was sent to the buyer Celtic Clays will cover postage costs. If returned goods are damaged or indeed lost in transit the buyer is responsible for any such loss.
